Stephanie Kumar

Clinical Psychologist

Stephanie is a compassionate and open-minded clinical psychologist who is dedicated to empowering her clients throughout their therapeutic journey. Known for her empathic and non-judgmental approach, Stephanie is committed to understanding the impact of systemic factors on mental health and practices with cultural sensitivity. Her goal is to foster the development of self-efficacy and confidence in managing mental health within a safe and supportive environment.

Utilising evidence-based modalities, Stephanie incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (ST), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) into her practice. She takes a client-centered approach, adapting therapeutic techniques to fit each individual rather than trying to fit the client to the therapeutic modality.

Stephanie’s expertise spans a wide range of concerns, including cultural challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, self-esteem, school-refusal and school-related concerns, relationships and couples therapy, stress, burnout, and major life transitions. Her passion lies in helping clients navigate these issues and achieve meaningful growth.
