Hala Alaoui

Clinical Psychologist

Hala is a caring and dedicated clinical psychologist. Her empathetic approach is based on creating a safe space for all individuals whilst offering a client centred, trauma-informed, and supportive therapeutic framework.

Hala has worked in private practice, education, and public health settings with individuals across the lifespan. She is experienced in providing clinical assessments and evidence-based therapy for range of presentations including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and relationship issues.

Hala incorporates various therapy interventions tailored to individual needs they may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

Hala has completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology from the Institute for Social Neuroscience (ISN) Psychology Australia.

She has also completed a Bachelors of Social Science from RMIT, as well as a Bachelors of Psychological Science (Honours) from ISN Psychology Australia.
