Sara Cameron

Provisional Psychologist

Sara is a passionate provisional psychologist who is dedicated to helping her clients develop the skills and confidence they need to flourish. She focuses on providing personalised treatment that is both effective and culturally appropriate, striving to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe, understood and empowered to achieve their goals.

Sara is trained in several evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Additionally, she has experience with conducting psychological testing, including autism and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) assessment. She has worked closely with children and their families and is also trained to assist adults with various presentations including depression and anxiety.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, playing strategy-based games and engaging in creative arts.

Sara has completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Western Sydney University with a Distinction average.

She has also completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) with Bachelor of Laws at Macquarie University, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University. Sara holds a certificate in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
