Oscar Luan

Registered Psychologist

Oscar Luan is a compassionate and dedicated psychologist who works with clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults (ages 4 to 80+), addressing a wide range of psychological concerns. He integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to tailor his treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Oscar has extensive experience supporting children and young people through the NDIS, and he is committed to continually enhancing his skills to provide the highest level of care. His practice is grounded in the belief that personal growth and improvement, no matter how small, can have a meaningful impact on a person’s life.

Oscar’s welcoming, non-judgmental nature ensures that all clients feel safe and supported in their therapeutic journey. He brings several years of volunteer experience in medical and mental health first aid, as well as crisis intervention, which have shaped his empathetic approach to delivering high-quality psychological services.

Oscar completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) at the Australian Catholic University and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Deakin University..

He currently holds provisional registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and is in the process of obtaining his general registration.
