Emann Al-Zahab

Registered Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)

Emann’s clinical experience spans diverse settings including private practice, forensic government services, mental health hospitals, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Emann currently works with adult clients navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, workplace stress, burnout, and relationship challenges.

She draws on a wide range of evidence-based modalities tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, heartfulness, schema therapy, EMDR, and group-based interventions. Emann is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their values and strengths to foster resilience and personal growth.

With a special interest in positive psychology, she also designs and facilitates psychoeducational groups and webinars focused on enhancing wellbeing and preventing mental health difficulties. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate.

Qualifications

Emann holds a Master of Clinical Psychology alongside a Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science, and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).

She is a registered psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with AHPRA. She is an approved allied health practitioner of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), and is also an approved sponsor for the Work and Development Order (WDO) scheme.
