Provisional Psychologist
Joanna is passionate about supporting individuals from all walks of life and takes a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. She is experienced in working collaboratively with clients and those involved in their care, including those presenting with anxiety, low mood, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, school-refusal, life transitions, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and AD/HD.
In her work, Joanna draws on psychological modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. She also enjoys coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams (including teachers, doctors, and allied health professionals) to provide holistic client care.
Guided by neuro-affirming and strengths-based principles, Joanna focuses on equipping her clients with practical skills to support them on their journey towards growth and healing. She is committed to providing a culturally safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
